Well, the 300 PRC has a throat diameter just .0008″ larger than the bullet diameter while the 300 Win Mag throat has a whopping .007″ of clearance around the bullet. Additionally, the 300 PRC has a minimally tapered beltless case with a 30 degree shoulder. The .300 Win Mag uses a belted case with a 25 degree shoulder.minimize these problems and is much, much more fun! Breaking in a barrel consists of a series of shooting and cleaning sequences. Everyone has their own specific sequences, but the end results are usually very close to the same. This sequence that we have developed over the last 15 years is very simple and has given good results.The bottom metal allows the rifle to utilize AICS magazines. It is the tactical style. Have cycled ammo in magazine through the rifle with no issues. Finish, fit and machining are excellent. The one not so good issue is the price, compared to other manufacture it is expensive.
